WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev agreed in a telephone call on Wednesday that both countries were close to a new nuclear arms reduction treaty, the White House said.
"The presidents agreed that negotiations are nearly complete, and pledged to continue the constructive contacts that have advanced U.S.-Russian relations over the last year," the White House said in a statement.
